In high school we always tend to wish to fall in love with certain girl/guy. Salad Days (by Inokuma Shinobu 18 Vol) is a collection of short love stories illustrating how young naive high school students fall in love. Amazingly, love sometimes works in the strangest way and that's what the author tries to picture in his manga. Each story doesn't always end happily ever after but each story does have an important lesson we should could learn. The manga also displays how peole pursue their love by sometimes ignoring their best friends; making silly mistakes; letting selfishness, jealousy and pride control them; and most importantly not understanding other people's feelings.
Love might not always end the way you want but if you follow and believe in your heart, you'll one day find the right person for you.
